Block ice factories in 40' containers 

from 3,500 to 10,000 kg daily output. Ready-to-connect block ice factory, suitable for tropical installation and maritime climate.
The plant consists of a 40-ft. Container according to ISO, with PVC coating, equipped as follows:

Machine room
with the refrigeration generators for ice production and ice storage together with electrical control. Heat dissipation from the air-cooled condensers through the rear door and openings on the sides of the container, protected by wire mesh. Non-slip floor made of checker plates.

ZIEGRA Block ice factory 
All parts that come into contact with brine or water are made of stainless steel, alternatively galvanised or provided with suitable corrosion protection. The fully insulated brine bath is covered with removable panels.

The ice moulds are made of stainless steel with a sheet thickness of 1.5 mm that can withstand rough handling. The ice is harvested by an electric overhead crane with pressure control. Powerful heating elements in the
defrosting bath ensure that the blocks are quickly released from the moulds. The blocks then slide through a transfer opening into the ice storage. Simultaneous filling of 8 ice moulds at a time guarantees their uniform filling level. One freezing cycle lasts approx. 8 hours, which results in the specified daily output for three continuous ice harvests per day.

Ice storage 
Sheets outside with 120 mm PUR insulation, inner surface made of stainless steel. Walls and floor connected watertight. Including lighting and drains for melting and cleaning water.
Ice dispensing through removable hatch.

Standard sizes ice blocks:

12,5 kg  = 15 x 13 x 70 cm
20    kg  = 25 x 13 x 70 cm
25    kg  = 30 x 13 x 70 cm
