Crushed ice
made from salt water
The temperature of seawater ice is approximately -7°C. It cools the fish quickly and intensively. Due to its salt content, seawater ice is softer than, for example, flake ice from freshwater and has no sharp edges. The fish is not damaged.
The ice-making process can make use of the unlimited supply of seawater available. The Trawler ice machine is designed for the highest loads and can easily cope with different levels of salinity
