Thanks to the optimum ice temperature of -0.5°C, ZIEGRA crushed ice is pleasantly soft on the skin.

The ice machine - invisible and inaudible to the guest - automatically ensures that the ice basin is always full:
When ice is removed, the machine registers this and starts producing fresh ice on its own.

When the basin is full, it stops without you having to do anything.

Size of the ice cream maker
The size of the ice machine is determined by several key factors: Size of your ice pool, the desired use, your opening hours and number of guests, whether to use in the sauna infusion, etc. We will of course be happy to help you choose the right type and the necessary accessories.

As a rough rule of thumb, here are some empirical values:

Gyms / smaller hotels / smaller spas usually require 150 kg (ZBE 150) of ice output per day.
Larger hotels / spas usually require between 250 kg (ZBE 250) and 350 kg (ZBE 350) of ice per day.

Cooling the ice machine

Here are some ideas & suggestions on how ice machines can be installed invisibly.

With light barrier: ice ejector D

The ice machine is located in the next room or in a false ceiling. The ice is fed through a hose downwards through the wall and/or ceiling into a basin. It is switched off by a light barrier as soon as the ice has backed up to it.

With reflective light sensor: ice ejection F

In this example, the ice machine is positioned above the ice tray and the ice falls freely into the collecting basin. The fill level is monitored by a reflective light sensor. Let your imagination run wild, please involve us in your considerations in good time. Or simply ask us for suggestions.
